Mantendo um equilíbrio atraente entre estilo luxuoso e tons acolhedores e quentes, as espaçosas suítes Helmsley, no topo da Palm Avenue, e os chalés de jardim, ao lado da piscina, foram projetados para prestigiar a herança holandesa da cidade, com a Table Mountain como pano de fundo.
Os chalés ao lado da piscina foram concebidos como uma casa particular dentro de um resort, com um olhar fresco e vitoriano refletido por uma paleta de cremes e azuis. Cada suíte individual dentro da ala Helmsley é uma homenagem à presença histórica dos holandeses, conhecida como Cape-Dutch: pisos de madeira em padrão espinha de peixe, cortinas e tapetes com estampas geométricas, base cor de camelo e janelas e portas chocolate escuro. Muitas das obras de arte são do artista contemporâneo local Kurt Pio.

The iconic Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel, an oasis in the heart of vibrant Cape Town, recently reopened historic suites in the wing Helmsley and beloved garden chalets after renovations controlled by the Champalimaud interior design company.
Keeping an attractive balance between luxurious style and cozy, warm tones, the spacious suites Helmsley, on top of Palm Avenue and garden cottages, poolside, were designed to honor the Dutch heritage of the city, with Table Mountain as background.
The cottages by the pool were designed as a private home within a resort, with a fresh look and Victorian reflected by a palette of creams and blues. Each individual suite on the ward Helmsley is a tribute to the historical presence of the Dutch, known as Cape-Dutch: hardwood floors in herringbone pattern, curtains and rugs with geometric prints, camel-colored base and window and door dark chocolate. Many of the works of art are the contemporary local artist Kurt Pio.
Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel is legendary in Cape Town has hosted international royalty, politicians, celebrities and the jet-set society and is recognized as one of the leading hotels of the world.
