O glamour e a elegância de uma das mais clássicas modalidades do esporte pedem passagem na Riviera Nayarit. Pelo terceiro ano consecutivo, o Tesouro do Pacífico mexicano receberá o Campeonato Internacional de Polo na Praia, entre os dias 1º e 4 de maio, nas dependências do Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta. O torneio, que conta com o apoio do Escritório de Visitantes e Convenções da Riviera Nayarit, acontece há seis anos e esta em sua terceira edição na versão praia.
Serão quatro dias de competição, com a presença de oito equipes que representam, além do país-sede, nações como Argentina, Canadá, Itália e Suíça. É esperado para este ano um aumento de 30% no número de visitantes, atraídos principalmente pela participação confirmada do argentino Pablo Pieres, um dos atuais astros do esporte.
Uma das novidades da edição 2014 é que será o primeiro torneio com a tecnologia de realidade aumentada, que permitirá aos espectadores o máximo proveito do espetáculo.

Riviera Nayarit receive international polo championship
The glamor and elegance of one of the classic forms of the sport ask passage in Riviera Nayarit . For the third consecutive year, the Treasury will receive the Mexican Pacific International Cup Polo on the Beach, between the 1st and 4th of May, in the premises of the Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta. The tournament, which has the support of the Office of Convention and Visitor’s Riviera Nayarit, happens for six years and is the third edition beach version.
There will be four days of competition, with the presence of eight teams representing , besides the host country , as in Argentina , Canada , Italy and Switzerland . It is expected this year, a 30% increase in visitors, mainly attracted by the confirmed participation of Argentine Pablo Pieres , one of the current stars of the sport.
One of the novelties of the 2014 edition is to be the first tournament with augmented reality technology that will allow viewers the most out of the show .
