Que os brasileiros são apaixonados por Miami não é segredo nenhum, e o piloto tri-campeão da prova 500 Milhas de Indianapolis, Indy 500, Helio Castroneves, que já é residente da cidade há anos, acaba de se render aos charmes do condomínio privado Marina Palms Yacht Club & Residences, que se destaca por combinar marina, iate clube e condomínio de luxo. O piloto adquiriu um apartamento em pré-construção, com dois dormitórios e vista panorâmica para o Oceano Atlântico.
“É impossível morar na região de Miami e não sonhar com fins de semana navegando. Foi o Iate Clube oferecido pelo Marina Palms que me atraiu para o projeto. Eu adoro a vida náutica, mas meu tempo para me dedicar a isso é muito curto. Passo o ano todo correndo de um lado para o outro como piloto de Fórmula Indy e não tenho iate e, mesmo que tivesse, o coitado iria ficar deprimido, pois passaria a maior parte do tempo praticamente abandonado”, explica.
Segundo Neil Fairman, presidente do The Plaza Group, grupo responsável pelo projeto, Helio procura o mesmo que os demais compradores que se apaixonaram pelo projeto, sejam brasileiros ou não. “A pessoa que irá residir ou passar temporadas no Marina Palms é apaixonada pelo mar e por barcos”, afirma. Fairman é também fã de automobilismo e participa do circuito Ferrari de corridas.
São dois grandiosos edifícios, cada um com 234 espaçosos apartamentos. A primeira torre residencial tem previsão de entrega para o segundo semestre desse ano, e cerca de 60% das unidades vendidas foram adquiridas por brasileiros. A construção do segundo edifício, com apartamentos de 2, 3 e 4 dormitórios, começa este ano e os apartamentos em pré-construção já estão à venda, a partir de US$ 800 mil.
A marina será a casa do exclusivo Marina Palms Boat Club, um clube privado onde somente os residentes poderão se associar. Os membros contarão com iates tripulados de 23 a 36 pés que poderão ser usados para passeios ou pesca. Todos os serviços estarão acessíveis via MPConnect, um aplicativo personalizado para dispositivos móveis. Usando o aplicativo de “mordomo virtual”, navegantes poderão se conectar diretamente com a empresa de gestão e com o concierge.
